Meet Angie.. my beautiful grand-dog, all decked out in her Louie V outfit. She and many other fur babies enjoyed a great day with their humans at the annual Ormond Memorial Art Museum Dogapalooza 2020. Ang enjoyed a lovely walk along the beautiful shaded park paths, listening to music, visiting the vendor booths, getting treats for her sister Lil, and making new friends. There were all types of dogs dressed in costumes for the parade and a contest with categories for small, large, oldest, youngest and most colorful which went to a brilliant blue haired dog.
The Dogapalooza is sponsored by AdventHealth Hospice Care who offer pet programs to Hospice patients. Sophie’s Circle, Halifax Humane Society, and the Great Dawg Rescue of Ormond were all represented.
Seabreeze High School Student Volunteers were helping with the Pet Paw Prints booth. It was fantastic to see our local high school youth involved.
Music and entertainment was provided by Ang’s human dad Kyle Bogdan aka Boggy who kept us singing and moving to the music.
All in all it was a perfect doggie day and a great time had by all. Be sure to bring your pups and check out the Dogapalooza in Ormond next year.
Until next time… Live a blessed life my friends!
