White River Indiana

If you are looking for a great place to camp in North East Indiana, you may want to check out White River Campground.

I did a weeklong solo camp in 2017 and had a fantastic time. The campground has plenty of nice shaded even sites for tents and RVs right along the White River. The sites were all well kept and the facilities were clean and easy to access. Wi-Fi is available. Be sure to call the campground and double check the river level as they may close the campground if the level is too high.

Nearby towns offer water sports on the lake and dining and concerts. It’s not far from larger towns and only about an hour from downtown Indianapolis and the airport. Be sure to get a map of the covered bridges tour and catch a walking tour in downtown Indy.

Happy Camping!
